Three key items to get married in Vendee
For a wedding in the west of France, it is essential to be prepared for all weather conditions. Here are the three essential items for a wedding in Vendee.
First, choose a dress fit for the warm and dry weather during summer. Then, take your most elegant sunglasses, to enjoy the hot sun of the region to the fullest. Finally, an umbrella may be useful, just to be sure, as rainstorms and thunderstorms are common during spring and summer as well.
The best season to get married
in Vendee
All seasons can be pleasant for getting married in Vendee and add their own special touch to the ceremony and festivities. Here are the main advantages of each season:
Spring (March-May): Spring is the ideal season for a wedding in Vendee. The weather is delightful, flowers are blooming everywhere in the fields and the beaches are still quiet before the arrival of summer tourists.. It is also the season when chances of rain are slim, so why not have an outdoor wedding ?
Summer (June-August): Summer is by far the most popular season to get married in Vendee, due to the very pleasant and sunny weather. Sure, temperatures may be hot at times, but it also allows for enjoying the beautiful beaches of the region. However, it is recommended to book reception venues and vendors early due to this high tourist season.
Fall (September-November): Autumn is without doubt a very lovely season to get married in Vendee, nested in warm colors and mild temperatures. Beaches are quieter than during summer and wedding venues are often less expensive than during the high season. However, with increased chances of rain, you may want to have a plan B if you want an outdoor wedding.
Winter (December-February): Winter is certainly the quietest season in terms of tourism and the cheapest one to get married in Vendee. Landscapes are also very different, with a romantic and cozy atmosphere. Nonetheless, temperatures can be quite cold and chances of rainy weather increase, which can make it harder to have your wedding outdoors. But if you’re ready to face these winter weather conditions, getting married at this time of the year in Vendee may be even more magical and unique.
Each season has its advantages and will contribute to making your event unique and unforgettable. Each will also require different facilities and adaptations, so a plan B in case of bad weather can be very valuable. An experienced photographer will be able to take these elements into account to propose locations suitable for your wedding project, whether for outdoor or indoor photos. Why not trust me?
