The Team behind the photos
Jeremie, photography, videographyIl était un Pixel is the studio of Jérémie Sangaré, a former aerospace engineer who traded flight dynamics for light, and now photographs and films weddings across France, Europe and beyond, from a home base in Les Sables-d'Olonne on the Atlantic coast.
The engineering never really left: it shows in the precision, the anticipation of a moment before it happens, the reading of light the way others read blueprints.
What was added along the way is the eye: 250+ international awards, a place among the world's top 60 wedding photographers five years running, features in Vogue UK and Tatler, and a seat on the jury of This is Reportage.
Behind the camera you'll also find a small team of like-minded creatives , for films, multi-day coverage, and everything that makes a wedding whole. We work for couples who notice things: the last light of the day, the glance across a crowded room, the difference between a picture and a photograph.
Lucie, content creation, videography
Right-hand woman, extraordinary content creator, set assistant, community manager... Lucie is the team's little fairy, whether at the studio or on location! You'll find us both at your appointments, at the studio, during photo sessions, and at certain weddings, depending on the options you choose.
Extended teamDepending on the wedding, I sometimes cover them alone, sometimes we come Lucie and I, and sometimes we need a bigger team, 3+ crew members (same day edits with on site editing team, brand campaigns, etc). We rely on our former Il était un Pixel full time members, who know our processes, and have worked seamlessly with us for years, or we hire trusted colleagues we trust.
