Elopement Packages & Pricing

Elopement Packages & Pricing

Let's talk about money the way I wish more photographers did: clearly, early, and without making you fill out a form to learn whether we are even in the same universe.

I am Jérémie, an award-winning elopement and destination wedding photographer and videographer based on the west coast of France, working across Europe and beyond, from the châteaux of the Loire Valley to the cliffs of Ireland, the lavender of Provence and the arctic light of the Lofoten Islands. [Elopement Photographer]
Below is how my elopement collections work, what they include, and the honest answers to the pricing questions couples usually save for the third email. Ask them in the first.

How my pricing works, in one paragraph

Every elopement is different, so I build collections around coverage time and deliverables rather than one-size packages. Photography collections start at €4000. Photo + film collections, one team, one artistic direction, start at €6500. Travel within Europe is included; beyond it, travel is quoted transparently at cost, and several times a year it is free, more on that below. You reserve your date with a 30% retainer, and the rest is due in two times, a few month before the wedding and the rest on wedding day.

What every collection includes, no asterisks

Planning help from the day you book: location ideas from fifteen years of shooting across Europe, timeline design around the actual sunset of your actual place, vendor recommendations from my personal shortlists. A print release for your images. Sneak peeks within 2 days and the full gallery within 4-6 weeks. And me, fluent in French and English, calm under weather changes, and genuinely delighted to hike for a photograph.

Travel: the part that surprises couples (pleasantly)

Travel is quoted at cost, never padded, and itemized so you see exactly what you are paying for. Better: several times a year I publish my travel calendar, destinations where I will already be for weddings, conferences or personal projects. If your elopement matches one of those windows, travel fees are on me. Couples have used this for Iceland, Italy and beyond; it is the best-kept bargain on this site. [My travel dates]

Fine art albums, prints and films

Your images deserve better than a hard drive. Handcrafted layflat albums on museum-grade papers start at €900; fine art prints and framed pieces are available from the gallery after delivery; and films can be extended with a documentary edit of the full ceremony and speeches. None of this is required, all of it is what your grandchildren will actually hold. [Wedding albums]

How booking works

One: write to me with your date (or your season, undecided is welcome) and the place, real or dreamed. [Send me a message] Two: we talk, by video or voice, about what you are imagining; you will get my honest take on locations, seasons and light, whether or not we end up working together. Three: a clear proposal, a simple contract, and a 30% retainer locks your date. From that moment I am your accomplice: planning help costs nothing extra and starts immediately.

I photograph a limited number of elopements and weddings each year, and May, June and September dates go 12 to 18 months ahead. Off-season and weekday elopements are where the calendar, and sometimes the pricing, breathes.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't you publish exact fixed prices for everything? Because a Tuesday elopement on my home coast and a sunrise ceremony in the Dolomites are not the same project, and pretending otherwise produces either padding or surprises. The starting prices above are real; your quote will be itemized and final.

Do you charge more for weekends or peak season? NO: it’s the same work anyways :) What is true everywhere: off-season and weekdays give you more calendar freedom and often more location privacy.

What about permits and location fees? Some locations (national parks, certain landmarks, some Paris spots) require permits; I flag these during planning and they are billed at cost.

What happens if the weather turns? We adapt, and honestly, some of my favorite images ever were made in weather the forecast apologized for. For genuinely unworkable conditions on flexible elopements, we shift the timeline or the day when travel allows.

Do you photograph small weddings too, not just two-person elopements? Absolutely: up to about 15 guests fits the elopement collections; beyond that, ask for a wedding proposal [France Wedding Photographer]

The only real question

Not "what does it cost" but "what will still matter in thirty years." My couples hire me because the answer, for them, is the photographs and the film: the proof of the day they chose each other somewhere extraordinary. If that is your answer too, tell me where we are going. [Send me a message]
