Editorial Wedding Photographer in France
You decided to have a beautiful destination wedding in France, let’s create timeless memories together.
You have a folder of magazine spreads saved, and a growing fear that your own wedding photos will not look like them. That gap is the whole of my work: fashion-led images of a real day, in France, for couples who can read an editorial and want theirs to hold up in print.
The look you are actually asking for
Editorial is not a filter or a mood board word; it is a way of seeing that wedding photography borrowed from fashion. Direct flash where most photographers would soften. Frames composed like a page rather than a memory. A dress photographed the way a magazine photographs couture, for how it falls and moves. Angles that are decided, not found. My work has lived in that grammar for years, which is why it has been published in the places that only run the genre well: three photos from my weddings and editorials have appeared in print in British Vogue, and my work has been featured by Tatler, Wedding Sparrow and Amber & Muse, and more.
I am a true documentary photographer at heart and offer a unique blend of the two: real moments, and magazine portraits.
elegant x poetic editorial wedding photos and films for discerning couples who notice beautiful light, and want documentary candid moments with a true editorial eye.

Editorial images during a real day
Here is the fear worth naming: that getting magazine images means spending your wedding being posed, missing your own cocktail hour, and looking back at a day you performed instead of lived. That is the trade most couples assume they have to make, and it is a false one.
Moments vs. portraits at A&A multi day chateau wedding in France
The way I work is closer to two people than one: a director when the frame needs it, invisible the rest of the time. In practice, the editorial frames come from a handful of short, decided windows, twenty minutes here, ten there, placed where they cost you nothing, while the hours in between are documented as they happen, in the reportage tradition that earned me 250+ international awards from Fearless Photographers, This is Reportage and the WPJA, where I have ranked among the top 60 wedding photojournalists worldwide in the last five years. You get the spread and the truth, and your guests never see me working for either.
And yes, when the evening turns golden I will steal you for a few minutes, because some light is too good to refuse. It is one register among several, not the whole plan.
Your planner and your florist will want to work with me
If you are hiring at this level, you are assembling a team, and your photographer is the one who either makes the others look their best or gets in their way. I have spent fifteen years on the vendor side of that equation: editorial projects built with florists and couture designers, published work that gave those vendors their own features, and enough weekends beside planners to know exactly when to disappear and when to ask for two more minutes with the tablescape before the doors open.
Concretely, that means detail coverage your florist and stationer can actually publish, dress images your designer will want to license, a timeline negotiated with your planner rather than imposed on her, and, if a feature matters to you, a photographer who knows what editors accept and how to submit a wedding properly. Several of my couples have seen their day published; none of them had to ask twice.
photographs worth the ocean
you are crossing for them
Hi, I'm Jérémie.
A former aerospace engineer who traded flight systems for wedding days a long time ago, based in western France, working across the country and far beyond. You will spend one of the best days of your life a few meters from me; this face comes with calm, fluent English, and a genuine obsession with light and moments.
your photographerPlanning it from four thousand miles away
Distance is the other quiet worry, and it deserves plain answers. My couples plan from New York, London, Los Angeles and Sydney, so calls happen at your convenience, not mine; my English is fluent and my replies land within a day. I know the great French venues from the inside, from the Loire Valley châteaux to the Atlantic coast, Paris and Provence so venue conversations start from experience rather than a website you have both read. Photo and Video come from one team under one artistic direction, which spares you the classic destination headache of two crews meeting for the first time in your suite. And the practical armour is in place: professional insurance, redundant cameras and backups, a contract that says what happens if the sky falls, and a plan B for weather I have already used more than once, after 15+ years and 300+ multi-day weddings.

What couples say
Jeremie was a pleasure to work with! Another bride recommended me to him and my husband and I could not be happier with the final pictures and video. He captured our day perfectly! Aside from being a great photographer, he also helped connect us with other vendors he had worked with in the past. Since my husband and I live in the US, this was a huge help for us. He was professional, friendly, punctual, creative...all of the things we were looking for in a photographer on our wedding day. If you are bride getting married in France or looking to elope in a remote destination, I would highly recommend Jeremie :)

We LOVED working with Jeremie! We found him through a recommendation from our venue, Chateau de Jalesnes, and were immediately blown away with his work. Jeremie was extremely communicative, worked with us to learn our priorities, and made everyone so comfortable. We had first preview shots the day after our wedding, which was SO AMAZING and I loved every single shot. He provided the rest of the album 4 weeks later along with the video. The video was amazing, captured the spirit of the event, and all of our friends loved seeing it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and would recommend him to anyone looking for photo/video services anywhere!

Jeremie was the most incredible photographer and videographer from start to finish and we could not recommend him enough. I don’t know how he managed to capture all of the photos and videos that he did by himself and make it look so easy. Jeremie blended into our day capturing all the candid moments and helping us (as a couple who don’t take many photos) make sure we had our moments too. All of our guests have commented about how brilliant Jeremie was too!
We haven’t stopped looking at our photos and videos because we love them so much, thank you Jeremie.

We had the most amazing experience working with Jérémie. When he was in the United States we were able to do an engagement shoot on the beach. It was raining and cold and Jérémie insisted he not wear a jacket with us so that we wouldn’t be the only ones suffering. Jérémie is kind, funny, and extremely hard working. He was there for us over the past two crazy years with Covid-19 and helped us at every turn with our destination wedding. Jérémie is a phenomenal photographer and videographer. Everyone at our wedding was blown away by his skill, professionalism, and abilities. Jérémie was able to shoot photos, switch to video, while his drone was also flying!! His skills are unmatched! Not only is he incredibly talented but also so thoughtful! He brought us sparklers for our exit which is one of our favorite parts of the wedding. He will help you to feel comfortable and direct you if you don’t know how to pose. We can not say enough good things about Jérémie. He is just AMAZing!!
A note on dates
I take a deliberately limited number of weddings per season, so that yours receives the preparation this kind of work demands, and the prime Saturdays from May to September are typically reserved 12 to 18 months ahead. As of this season, 6 weekends remain open for 2027. If your date exists, even approximately, the earliest conversation is the useful one.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your work editorial rather than just pretty?
The grammar it borrows: fashion lighting including direct flash, composed frames, couture photographed as couture, and a directed eye. The verification is easy, ask for two full galleries and compare them with the spreads in your folder.
Will we spend our wedding posing?
No. The directed frames live in short windows placed where they cost you nothing; everything else is captured as it happens, it is a subtle blend of documentary photography and elegance. You should recognise your own day in the gallery, and also find pages in it you would frame.
Can our wedding be published?
Often, yes, if the day and the team support it (and let’s face it, if the florals are substantial enough). I know what editors accept, I submit properly, and several of my couples have been featured. It is never promised, and never the reason a frame gets made.
Do you travel anywhere in France?
Everywhere, and far beyond it. My travel-dates system also means that when your wedding aligns with a trip already planned, anywhere in Europe and beyond, travel fees are on me.
Photography or videography, film, or digital?
All of the above, by one team under one artistic direction. It is the single biggest quality difference at this level, and it removes the coordination problem entirely. We love analog and can deliver the full gallery on film, or just ~100 frames across the day (which impacts the investment).
The wedding in your folder was photographed by someone. It may as well be yours.
